Making Visual Narratives is coming. . .

Last February I wrote a grant for around $3,000 to do a semester of "Visual Narratives" in my class. In May I was awarded my grant and this summer, my art education professor is letting me hunker down and write the curriculum as well as develop resources for other teachers so others can try these projects out, too.

This involves learning Joomla so I can have all the articles, lesson plans, and resources organized in some semblance of order. I've never worked with CMS before, and I really like it!

After a few days work, I have what you see in the screen shot above. I have the structure and scaffolding of the site in place and now I have to give it some content!

Here's a mind map of some of the ideas I had going into the writing of the grant. I've had to focus the scope a little, but there's always more years to try out different stuff.
