The Fifth Anniversary of The Walter Boyd Band's seminal release, Mauritius, is coming up in a few short weeks. I've been working on remastering and redoing a few songs from it in addition to adding a few songs that should have made it onto the album, but just didn't get polished up quite right to included on the original release mostly due to my lack of mixing skills at the time. (Like much has changed!)
I was hoping it would all be ready in time for the real anniversary, but I've been super busy, so I doesn't look like it will be that way.
In the meantime, here's the first song I wrote with Walter Boyd. I was embarrassed of it for the longest time, but listening to it again today, I think its a pretty strong mix and decent chord progression.
